What is BaseLinker and what is it for?
BaseLinker, now developed under the Base brand, is a system for managing sales across many channels. It collects orders from your store and marketplaces, handles couriers and automates repetitive tasks. It is not a warehouse or accounting program, which is why it is often connected to Subiekt.
How does the BaseLinker and Subiekt GT integration work?
Orders collected in BaseLinker are passed to Subiekt, where sales documents are created. Stock and prices from Subiekt go back to BaseLinker and on to the sales channels. The connection can use an off-the-shelf integrator or a custom-built integration.
BaseLinker or a custom integration with Subiekt GT?
An off-the-shelf integrator is enough when the process is typical: one warehouse, standard documents, simple rules. A custom integration makes sense for unusual requirements such as several warehouses, your own numbering and document rules, or a large number of orders. It also makes sense when the store is to talk to Subiekt without an intermediary. After a short analysis, KCD Studio helps you choose.
How much does it cost to integrate BaseLinker with Subiekt?
Configuring BaseLinker with an off-the-shelf integrator is a smaller job than building an integration from scratch, which starts at from PLN 5,000 net (from PLN 6,150 gross). The BaseLinker subscription and manufacturers’ licences are paid separately. The quote is free.
Frequently asked questions
BaseLinker duplicates orders in Subiekt: how can this be solved?
Duplicates usually appear when the same order is passed along two routes, or when a repeated synchronisation does not recognise a document it has already sent. The fix is a unique order identifier on the Subiekt side and a single path for passing data.
The BaseLinker integration stops synchronising at night: why?
Typical causes are nightly backups, a computer or server with Subiekt being switched off, expiring sessions and request limits. KCD Studio checks the task schedule and logs, then sets up synchronisation to resume by itself after a break.
BaseLinker does not connect to Subiekt GT: what should I check?
Check that the SQL server with the Subiekt database is running, that the integrator has current access credentials, that the Sfera licence is active and that a firewall is not blocking the connection. If that does not help, KCD Studio diagnoses the connection remotely.
Does KCD Studio configure BaseLinker itself?
Yes. In BaseLinker we configure sales channels, couriers, automatic actions and document templates, also without writing code.
