What is this website and what did we do for it?
Elevtech is a family company from Warsaw that washes, repairs and paints facades and roofs, cleans and installs gutters and clears snow from roofs in winter. It works for business clients: housing communities and cooperatives, property managers, developers, and companies and public buildings in Warsaw and Mazovia.
We set the new website up exclusively for business clients and built it from scratch: a custom WordPress theme without Bootstrap and jQuery, content for B2B clients, new services (washing halls, snow clearing), a guide section, redirects from old addresses, a calculator, a form, cookies, SEO and deployment to the existing hosting. From the first commit to the deployment package took five days, and the theme code is about 12,400 lines of PHP and JavaScript and 7,500 lines of CSS, written from scratch.
- WordPress with a custom theme: no framework and no CDN libraries. The code runs on PHP 8.2 and later and is prepared for 8.4.
- The WordPress panel with a “Company settings” options page: the client edits texts, case studies, reviews and posts on their own.
- Advanced SEO: structured data, breadcrumbs, sitemap.
- Hosting unchanged; deployment through a migration package with a rollback plan.

How does the website win enquiries from companies and institutions?
Each client group has its own page with a specific offer and that group’s questions: housing communities and cooperatives, property managers, developers, and companies and public buildings. There are also eleven service pages, from washing and painting facades and roofs, through halls and paving, to gutters and winter snow clearing.
The case studies show the work: twelve project cards on real photos, with the site, location, scope and year. Where the “before” and “after” photos match in framing, there is a before and after slider. Reference letters sit alongside.
How is the website prepared for Google and AI assistants?
The site has what makes the company easier to find and quote: structured data, clear answers in the text, an llms.txt file, a sitemap and a robots.txt that lets search engine and AI assistant crawlers in.
- Structured data covers a local business with a service area, services, breadcrumbs, questions and answers, and articles with the company as the author.
- robots.txt lets in GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, ClaudeBot, Claude-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, Bingbot and Applebot-Extended, among others. llms.txt describes the company, services and rules.
- IndexNow reports changes to Bing right after publishing (production only), so a new page does not wait for a crawler.
- A map of 301 redirects sends old addresses (including those ending in “b2b”) to the new ones. A redirect fires only when its target exists, so there are no loops or errors.
- We created no artificial “service plus city” pages, because they put the whole site’s visibility at risk.
How does the facade painting cost calculator work?
The client enters the area and answers four questions: whether the facade has been painted before, its condition, how dirty it is and how many floors it has. The calculator shows a gross price range and the net amount at 8% and 23% VAT, with a clear note that the quote is only an estimate and depends on the building type and its details.
The calculator is our own theme module that loads only on the calculator page, and a comparison script checks that the results match the reference formula. The result fills in the enquiry form.

How does the enquiry form work?
The form does not use reCAPTCHA. It is protected from spam by safeguards that are invisible to the user and by attempt limits, so the client never has to retype characters or click pictures.
An enquiry is always saved in the panel before the e-mail is sent, so no enquiry is lost, and the e-mail status is visible next to every entry. The panel has a source filter (form or calculator) and a CSV export, and enquiries are deleted after 12 months. The IP address is not stored: only its salted hash goes into the limits.
Without JavaScript the form works as a plain POST with a redirect. With JavaScript, after sending, a roller slides in, paints over the form in the company colour and “Wysłane” (“Sent”) appears; with animations switched off in the system there is a simplified version.
What happens on the first screen?
The first screen shows what the company does. The background starts dirty, a front of water with foam sweeps across diagonally, and the headline turns white exactly where the water has passed. A worker in an aerial lift basket does the washing: the basket rises from below, the lance leads the water along the dirt line, and at the end the worker wipes his brow and rides down.
The animation is drawn on a canvas, plays once after entering the site and does not block page loading. With reduced motion set in the system, the page shows the final state straight away.
How did we handle privacy, cookies and security?
The browser connects only to elevtech.pl until the visitor gives consent. We checked this in production in a clean browser: the home page, the calculator, the case studies and the contact page send no requests to third-party domains before a decision in the banner.
A lightweight custom cookie banner replaced a paid plugin: the “Accept” and “Reject” buttons are identical, consent goes to Google straight away in Consent Mode v2, and the Global Privacy Control signal turns marketing off. Google Tag Manager and analytics load only after consent.
- Security headers: CSP with a single-use nonce and “strict-dynamic”, HSTS, Permissions-Policy, X-Content-Type-Options and protection against framing.
- A hardened back end: common WordPress attack paths blocked, a login attempt limit, file editing from the panel blocked, a security.txt file.
- Photos are converted to WebP on upload, and EXIF metadata (including location) is removed from the originals. Header crops (2:1 for phones, 4:3 for desktops) are generated from one photo on first use.
- The form, the calculator, cookies and SEO settings live in the theme code, not in plugins, so there is less third-party code to keep updated.
How fast is the website and how do we check it?
We measured the live site with Lighthouse in mobile mode. Performance: 95 on the home page, 97 on the case studies and contact pages, 100 on the services, calculator and guide pages. Accessibility, best practices and SEO are 100 on all six pages we checked, and CLS is 0. Largest Contentful Paint falls between 1.4 and 2.1 s.
First-load transfer is 120 to 146 kB on text-only pages; the home page is about 340 kB and the case studies about 440 kB because they contain photos.
The repository holds more than twenty test and check scripts: security, the form (including mail failure and retention), redirects, breadcrumbs, content, cookies in a real Chrome and the calculator comparison.
How did the deployment go?
Acceptance took place on a local copy, and we swapped production in with a full backup of the previous version and a rollback plan that takes about a quarter of an hour. Hosting and the domain stayed unchanged.
After the swap we check the site from outside: response codes of all pages, redirects of old addresses, the form e-mail arriving, no connections before consent, security headers, llms.txt, robots.txt and the sitemap.
Screenshots come from a build of the site. The calculator amount is the result of sample answers, not an offer.
Frequently asked questions
Did KCD Studio rebuild a service company’s website on WordPress?
Yes. For the company Elevtech we built a new custom WordPress theme with content for B2B clients, a calculator, a form, SEO and preparation for AI assistants. The site is live at elevtech.pl.
How much does rebuilding a company website on a custom WordPress theme cost?
Simple websites start from PLN 1,500 net, and rebuilds with a calculator, a form, address migration and SEO are quoted individually. An initial quote is free, usually within 48 hours.
Will rebuilding the website hurt rankings in Google?
We take care of that with 301 redirects from old addresses to new ones and consistent company data. We do not guarantee search results, but we do not leave abandoned addresses behind.
Is the website prepared for ChatGPT and other AI assistants?
Yes: it has an llms.txt file, a robots.txt that lets assistant crawlers in, structured data and content with clear answers. Nobody can guarantee that an assistant will quote a site, but we do everything that depends on us.
Can the client still edit the content after the rebuild?
Yes. The client edits texts, case studies, reviews and guide posts in the WordPress panel, and company details on the “Company settings” options page. Larger changes are made by KCD Studio.
